A fine performer and a good value this TV displayed very good picture quality for HD and DVD and good for standard-definition. A minor quibble: Images were slightly over-sharpened and had a slight boost in edge-enhancement. The set was able to accept a 1080p signal from a Blu-ray HDTV player via its HDMI input though image detail was scaled to fit this TV's lower native resolution. It has a SD Card port on the front panel that enables you to display digital photos. But the remote can be hard to use in low lighting.
